if the equation is 2H2S2 + 5O2 = 4SO2 + 2H2O then yes, it does.

actually the equation is 2H2S2 + 3O2 -> 4SO2 + 2H2O

Technically these answers are both wrong. The first one is balanced but it is not simplified enough, so you could still get marked wrong for it. The second answer does not account for the proper amount of oxygen on both sides... the REAL answer is: 2H2S + 3O2--->2SO2 + 2H2O
