The Concentration
The solution is said to be unsaturated. If the max amount is dissolved at a given temperature, then the solution is saturated.

The solution has a lower concentration. We can also say that it is dilute. Concentration is the amount of solute over the volume of solvent, thus when a large amount of solvent is used, concentration of the solution is low.
Heat up the solvent. Solubility of most solid solutes increases with temperatue.
A solution that is not able to absorb any more solute or solvent
If a solute completely dissolves in a solvent, then the solution is called a saturated solution. This means that no more solute can dissolve in the solvent at that particular temperature and pressure.
When the maximum amount of solid (solute) is dissolved in a solvent, the resulting solution is said to be saturated.
The solution is saturated when no more solute dissolves in the solvent.

A saturated solution
A saturated solution has achieved equilibrium between solute and solvent when the solute is still visible after mixing. This means that the solvent has dissolved as much solute as it can at that particular temperature and pressure, resulting in a saturated solution.
A saturated solution is a solution that holds the maximum amount of solute that can be dissolved in a solvent at a specific temperature and pressure.
A solution that does not allow any more solute to dissolve (at room temperature) is called a SATURATED SOLUTION. But a saturated solution can be made to dissolve more solute by heating it. Then it is called a super saturated solution.The solvent becomes saturated and the no more solute will disolve

The amount of solute that can be dissolved in a solvent before the solution becomes saturated depends on the solubility of the solute in that particular solvent at a given temperature. Once the solution reaches its maximum capacity to dissolve more solute, it becomes saturated and any additional solute will not dissolve.
