Some of these are more pervasive (used exclusively) than others:

Kleenex (facial tissue) Xerox (copy)
Band-Aid (adhesive bandage)
Kevlar [Vest] (body armor)
Crayon
Monopoply
Aspirin
Sudafed
Trojan
Escalator
Elevator
Granola
Hoover (vacuum)
Heroin
Linoleum
Rolodex
Fedex
Purel
Kicks (shoes)
Yo-Yo
Zipper
Velcro
Nerf
Swiffer

More Brittish:
Wimpy (hamburger)
MacIntosh (rain slicker)

The one that SHOULD be, but isn't:
COKE (should be synonymous with any brand of "Cola," but due, I guess, to clever marketing on the part of Pepsi, you are still asked, "Is Pepsi okay?" And since most restaurants don't actually offer both Brands, its not really a CHOICE, hence I don't care what Brand it is. I've tried asking for "Cola," but that doesn't help!)
