The way I like to think about it, homogeneous solutions are those where individual particles can't be picked out.

For instance, salt water and fruit juices (without pulp) are homogeneous solutions.

Things like salsa on the other hand are not, because you can see that it's a mixture. These are called heterogeneous mixtures.

What is a homogeneous mixture that the substances are not solutions?

Examples: a mixture of gases, a melted alloy, etc.

Are salt water brass and air examples of solutions or what?

Yes, salt water, brass, and air are examples of solutions. A solution is a homogeneous mixture of two or more substances where one substance (solute) is uniformly dispersed in another substance (solvent). In these examples, salt is the solute in salt water, copper and zinc are solutes in brass, and various gases are solutes in air.

What are examples of heterogeneous elements?

A chemical element is homogeneous, also many solutions, etc.; examples of heterogeneous materials: soils, foods, rocks, wastes, etc.

Are chemical solutions uniform?

Only the solutions which are homogeneous mixtures.

Is solutions heterogeneous?

A heterogeneous solution combines 2 or more solutions that are not chemically combined. A homogeneous solution is when the components are uniformly distributed.

Do homogeneous mixtures include colloids solutions and suspensions?

A solution is a homogeneous mixture.

Examples of homogeneous materials?

Examples of homogeneous materials include pure water, air, sugar solutions, and alloys like brass, which have a uniform composition throughout their structure. These materials have consistent properties and cannot be easily separated into their individual components.

Is a homogeneous mixture and solution the same?

a true solution is an example of homogeneous mixtures. in a homogeneous mixture the components are uniformly mixed and there are no visible boundries of seperation.since (true)solutions have all the properties of a homogeneous mixture they are considered as an eg.all true solutions are homogeneous mixtures.for eg fruit juices, salt in water are true solutions which are homogeneous.air without pollutants and all alloys are also homogeneous.

How are solutions and suspensions different?

Solutions are homogeneous mixtures; suspensions are heterogeneous mixtures;

Are solutions homogeneous?

Clear liquid solutions without separating interlayer are homogenous
