Biomass can be used to generate electricity and to fuel our cars. Biomass generates electricity when the biogas is burned and this turns a turbine or a generator creating electricity. It fuels our cars by turning corn into ethanol for our cars.
Hopefully this helps...:D
there is not a thing negtive about biomass we need to save biomass it!
its pretty much everywhere. anything containing carbon is biomass. dirt is biomass. poop is biomass. a tree is biomass. you are biomass. so is your dog.. so, yeah; its pretty easy to get your hands on.
By people
Biomass is a renewable resource.
YES......For obvious reasons=biomass is renewable!=
no one uses biomass energy
Biomass energy is widely used. One state that uses biomass is Oregon.
People all around the world uses biomass. it's useful for helping the earth, im not kidding
Wood is not a fossil, it is biomass
Some examples of biomass's current use to day is, producing methane out of it that is the gas which comes out of you oven. Ethanol which is a transportation fuel which is made from corn and sugar cane, that has been fermented. and finally biodiesel which is another type of transportation fuel, that is produced from vegetable oil and animal fat.
Approximately 10% of the world's population uses biomass as their primary source of energy for cooking and heating. This reliance on biomass can have significant health and environmental impacts due to indoor air pollution and deforestation.
Biomass energy can be used as electricity, fuel and many more
The biomass is a renewable source of energy. It is produced from plants, thus until the people grow crops it will never be exhausted. On the other hand, some of the fossil fuels like crude, if used at current rates, will be depleted completely within the next 100 years. Also in case you hadn't noticed, biomass uses up plants so we gonna run out of oxygen!!!
Bioprocess
i have no idea, i need the same answer as well!
Stone age man used wood for fires
According to recent data, the state that uses the most biomass energy is California. California has a strong focus on renewable energy sources, including biomass, to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and combat climate change. The state has invested in biomass facilities and technologies to generate electricity and heat from organic materials.
