What are the steps to follow in the scientific method?

A scientific method differs when it comes to Science and Biology. The scientific method used in science is as follows:The investigative question- Who, what, where, why, how? (Not all questions are used)Hypothesis- Often using if and then (If... then...)Aim- What is the aim of this experimentApparatus- List the equipment used (In number format)Method- List what you have to do throughout the experiment (In number format)Variables- Independent variable, Fixed variable and dependent variableObservation- What you see during the experimentResult- Measurements (Drawn in table form)Interpretation- Measurements (Drawn in a line graph) Explain the graph belowConclusion- Was your hypothesis correct? How can you conclude your investigation

What does aim mean in the scientific method?

In the scientific method, "aim" refers to the specific goal or objective of an experiment or study. It outlines what the researcher intends to investigate or achieve, guiding the formulation of hypotheses and the design of the experimental procedure. Clearly defining the aim helps to focus the research and ensures that the results can be effectively analyzed and interpreted.

What are you trying to find out in your investigation?

In my investigation, I aim to uncover the underlying factors that contribute to the phenomenon being studied, whether it's a social issue, scientific anomaly, or historical event. I seek to gather data and analyze patterns to understand relationships and causations. Ultimately, my goal is to provide insights that can lead to informed conclusions or solutions.

Why are you doing the investigation?

I am conducting the investigation to gain a deeper understanding of the subject matter and to uncover insights that can inform decision-making. By exploring this topic thoroughly, I aim to address specific questions or challenges, contribute to existing knowledge, and potentially identify solutions or improvements. Ultimately, the goal is to provide valuable information that can benefit stakeholders involved.

What is a shooting method in numerical analysis?

The shooting method is a method of reducing a boundary value problem to an initial value problem. You essentially take the first boundary condition as an initial point, and then 'create' a second condition stating the gradient of the function at the initial point and shoot/aim the function towards the second boundary condition at the end of the interval by solving the initial value problem you have made, and then adjust your gradient condition to get closer to the boundary condition until you're within an acceptable amount of error. Once within a decent degree of error, your solution to the initial value problem is the solution to the boundary value problem. Have attached PDF file I found which might explain it better than I have been able to here.
