What are the weaknesses of the scientific method?

Right now the scientific method is the most accurate, reliable and understandable way we have of examining the physical universe. There may be parts of it that cannot account for certain phenomenon, but until we come up with something better there's no way to identify and eliminate any flaws. To date the only drawback that's been identified in the scientific method is that it has shown no justification for the existence of religious fundamentalists.

• Scientists die in labs because of accidents.
• Animals disturbed from habitats.
• Plant species taken from environment.
• Rare species threatened.
• Can be easily manipulated by irresponsible persons.
• We'll be too dependent on it. When technology fails, we are helpless (in one way or another).
• Sometimes, it affects our health and lifestyles (we'll be complacent and lazy. The chemicals can be hazardous)
• It destroys our simple and healthy life
• Invasion of our privacy.
• Science can pollute waters.

When using the scientific method, it is possible to have an experiment with no result or false results. Furthermore, it may be possible to misinterpret results. This is why experiments should always be repeated multiple times for accuracy.

- Over speeding, everyone is in rush to complete his work in stipulated time.
