Technically, the pure colored light that could provide the most heat in the visible spectrum assuming same brightness levels is blue or violet, since the colors on that end of the spectrum has the shortest wavelength and hence have the most energy to produce the most amount of heat.

You may have seen heat lamps which are generally red in color, however this is merely a red filter over a white light. The red filter acts to reduce the maximum amount of brightness released while radiating the maximum amount of heat from the white light. Hence while red light has been associated with heat, it is NOT the light which is technically able to heat the most. Just because a white light has been filtered does not mean that the light source was colored. For example pure produced blue light such as those in blue laser pointers are far stronger than red laser pointers. However an incandescent light bulb with a red filter will produce more heat than an incandescent light bulb with a blue filter simply because the filter has stopped more heat, the source remains the same for both incandescent light bulbs (both are white light).
