Weak tornadoes are those rated EF0 or EF1 and cause damage that is considered mils to moderate.

Typical EF0 damage includes some shingles and siding stripped from homes. Gutters and awnings may be taken down as well. Tree limbs will be broken and weakly rooted trees may be toppled.

Typical EF1 damage includes severe damage to house roofs, and broken windows. Barns and outbuildings may collapse. Trailers can be overturned or very severely damaged.
