The nucleus controls the cell. It is like the brain of the cell. Another way to put it is that the nucleus is like the control panel of the cells in your entire body.
If that^ doesn't make sense then think of the nucleus as your brain. The cell is like your body. The brain( nucleus) controls your body's movements and reactions to certain things that do not include love.
a gamete nucleus has only half the number of chromosomes in it than a regular body cell. in humans a regular body cell has 46 chromosomes (23 pairs) in the nucleus, but a gamete ie sperm or egg cell has only 23 chromosomes, which are all unpaired. during fertilization the 23 chromosomes from a sperm and the 23 from the egg cell combine and pair up.
I believe it is the cell membrane that holds everything in place in a cell. Also the things that surround the nucleus are the Smooth/Rough ER, and the Golgi Body. Also, if you are still having trouble, just simply type in "anatomy of a nucleus" in Google images and the pictures will most likely help you out. Hope this Helped!
Red blood cells or erythrocytes are small biconcave blood cells that lack a nucleus when they are mature and carry oxygen throughout the body. They lack the nucleus and most organelles in order to maximize room for hemoglobin. The cells are active for about 100â??120 days. New cells are made in the bone marrow.
The nucleus is like the brain of the cell. The other reason why nucleus is called the control center is that- It has genetic material called DNA which undergo different functions such as replication, transcription, translation i.e. formation of different enzymes and proteins necessary for the development of whole cell Another reason is that-the cell which lac nucleus during abnormal cell division known to be dead cell. Also, the nucleus controls the food that is transported in and out of the cell.

Prokaryotic cells have no nucleus. In the human body, mature erythrocytes (red blood cells) have no nucleus.
Humans contain a nucleus in our body.
The 'nucleus' is what controls the cell in a human or animal system of body.
The part of the nerve cell that contains the nucleus is the cell body or soma. The nucleus plays a vital role in controlling cellular activities and contains genetic material (DNA) that determines cell function and structure.
