Just observing the phenomenon happening without any bias already in mind. Observation definitely is a great skill. Only those capable of observing things are good scientists. When you do such observation of your thinking process then definitely you would attain a state of thoughtless. That is named as restful alertness of the mind. It is a good and nice practice to be practiced daily two times both morning and evening for atleast 15 to 20 minutes.
