In wagon pulling, there is a harnessing system involved which is attached to the breast of the horse. When a horse pulls forward, the harness, which is attached to the wagon moves with him as well, therefore moving the wagon forward.

How can a force produce motion on a bicycle?

Pushing down on the pedal will cause the bike to move forward.

What is a drivetrain on a bike?

the parts that provide the power to make it move forward.

What is the force that says that an object that is moving forward will continue to move forward unless another force stops it?

It is the force of inertia.

Can a bike move without a chain?

Sure. There are shaft drive bikes, belt drive bikes, and even the occasional treadle drive bike. Or you can straddle the bike and scoot forward with your feet on the ground, Flintstone-style. Or you can drag the bike up a hill and let gravity pull you down and forward. Or you can ride a pump track, where working your body in synch with going over bumps can force the bike forward in the same way skaters can keep the speed going while ramp riding. Or you can have an electric bike powered by hub motors.

Why is it more difficult to ride a bicycle on grass then on asphalt?

On a softer surface the wheels will sink in a little, causing the rolling resistance to increase, making it harder to get the bike to move forward. And a slow moving bike is more difficult to ride.

What causes the forward motion of a rocket?

The force of the combustion pushes on the interior of the rocket. The combustion releases through the rear exhaust, causing the rocket to move forward.

When you ride a bicycle what forces can overcome inertia?

When you ride a bicycle, the force of the wheel against the earth causes the earth to push back on the wheel, propelling the bike forward, according to Newton's law of equal and opposite reactions. If the force exerted by the earth is strong enough, it can overcome the inertia of the bike.

What force makes a bicycle move forward?

kinetic energy

You are learning how to juggle and when ever you practice the balls move forward causing you to walk forward how do you stop this?

Simple...don't walk forward when you juggle?

How does a bicycle stay upright when moving?

A combination of inertia and centrifugal force. The wheels, once rotating, create centrifugal force which in conjunction with gravity cause the bicycle to move forward creating inertia. the more energy put into the bike via the drivetrain, the more inertia is created and the more stable the bike becomes.
