Hurricanes help with the water cycle by carrying water to new places that need water.Snow storms are alot alike but the storms don't go that far.Still they do cause much damage to us and other animals and objects.

There are at least two benefits to snow storms. A snow layer insulates the roots of plants and the small creatures spending the winter in the ground from cold winter temperatures. It also benefits the same as rain, as it melts the moisture sinks into the ground for better plant growth in the spring.
