Sublimation is the change of state of matter from solid directly to gas. Dry ice does this. Deposition is the change of state from gas to solid. This is how frost forms. There are likely more examples of each, but they both skip over the liquid state of matter.

Sublimation occurs when the particles of the substance must move from being very tightly packed to being spread far far apart. Thus, sublimation is an endothermic change because energy is gained by the substance as it changes state.

during sublimation, a solid changes straight to a gas. It basically skips a step in the process of changing states.

because it just happens like boiling and evaporation when it gets really hot that is what happens

Sublimation is when solids change directly from solid to gas without a liquid phase.

Dry Ice (Solid Carbon Dioxide CO2) sublimes which is why it is a favorite for parties.

Why and how does evaporation take place below zero degree celsius?

Sublimation takes place without passing through the liquid phase, straight from solid to vapour.

What is pseudo sublimation?

it is a process which looks like sublimation but actually a diffrent process takes place that's why it is called pseudo means false sublimation ... in this when we heat a solid it gets decomposed in another compounds or elements and converts in to gas and when we cool them down the compounds again combine which by seeing looks like sublimation .. its example is amonium chloride
