a hypothesis
A hypothesis is a educated guess about how you think something is going to turn out. A theory is a way of how something might happen that has not been proven. A guess is like a hypothesis but not educated.
A scientist is trying to figure something out. The scientist makes a guess and figures out a way to test that guess. That is called an experimental investigation.
A prediction is more useful than a hypothesis because it is already based on prior observations, or a hypothesis. A hypothesis is just another suggestion about something. Predicting something because you have clues, is better than just a hypothesis, where you are just questioning something.
A hypothesis is an eduacted guess, and a guess has no previous knowledge about it.A hypothesis is usually part of a scientific experiment which involves a method for testing the hypothesis, and either supporting it, or supporting the opposite, the null hypothesis.

Who knows? I guess Zuko will start teaching Aang, Katara will watch them suspiciously and i think something unexpected will happen... maybe you see what happened to iroh or something...

I Guess I Was Hoping For Something More was created in 1998.
First they would usually create a hypothesis, or a guess of what the think why something would or has happened based on what they already know.
I'm no expert, but my guess would be she probably ate something poisonous or was bitten by something poisonous.
That was the day that my friends dragged me to see a mysterious old man who claimed to be a warlock. The warlock claimed that he could grant wishes, and he asked me what I wanted more than anything in the world. I told him that, more than anything, i wanted to summon up The courage to ask my crush out on a date. He told me that it was definitely possible to grant that wish, but that he would need payment in order to grant it. I scoffed, and said out loud that I had suspected all along that this “warlock” thing was nothing more than a scam on his part to get money out of gullible people and that there was no way that he had the power to grant wishes. And of course, I naturally didn’t pay him. well, apparently that was a very big mistake on my part. Because ever since May 17th, the exact opposite of my wish has come true. in fact, my worst nightmare has come true. I can’t be near my crush without something embarrassing happening. Whether im tripping in front of my crush in the hallway, or my pants are falling down to reveal my cartoon-themed boxer briefs in front of my crush, or im letting out a huge belch or fart whenever my crush is around, something humiliating always happens whenever my crush is around. And I can’t talk to my crush at all, as Any time since May 17th that I tried to do so, I have barfed all over my crush. apparently, I was wrong to assume that the warlock couldn‘t make magical things happen. and since I openly and vocally doubted him snd ended up offending him, he decided to work against me with his magic, making the polar opposite of my wish come true. Now, I can’t figure out how to get him to reverse his spell of sabotage to free myself from this horrible cycle or endless humiliation.

Do you mean an 'educated guess'? An educated guess is a hypothetical inquiry based on prior knowledge or experience of something or something pertaining to it. Basically, it's a "smart guess".
Nobody knows for sure, but I guess none of the most recent disasters were good enough for him, I guess.
I would say that it is a question. It is a very shortened version of "Can you guess what happened [the other day][at school][to me] .....?
