a gene pool is the mixture of a group of a species' genes. like, if you took all of the DNA of a group of people, and mixed it all together, that would be a gene pool
The total of all alleles present in a population.

*A* gene pool is the collection of all alleles present within a population or species.
Alleles are variants for genes. A gene occupies a certain location (or certain locations) on the genome of a species. For many genes in the genome, there are multiple variants upon the basic theme of the gene. The gene pool is an abstract collection, comprised of the totality of all the existing variants for every gene in the genome of a population or species. Each allele in the gene pool has a frequency: the number of individuals out of the entire species or population that carry a copy of that allele.
The frequency of an allele within the gene pool is an important measure of evolution. Favorable mutations (variant alleles) will increase their frequency in the gene pool, while detrimental mutations will decrease their frequency.
The human gene pool is exactly what it sounds like. This is the collection of genes found in the human race.
All the genes that occur in the population
A gene pool is all the genetic material in entire population of a species.
collection of genes in a particular species
The combined genetic information for a population is called the gene pool.
A gene getting on the pool. A gene getting off the pool.
a small pool of genes when a short guy named gene owns a pool
The gene pool.
A change in the gene pool due to chance is genetic drift.
The combined genetic information for a population is called the gene pool.
The Genetic variation between the organisms in the specific gene pool.
Combined genetic information of all the members of a particular population
A gene pool is the set of all genes, or genetic information, in any population, usually of a particular species.
Biodiversity refers to the large number or variety of plants and animals in an ecosystem. A gene pool is the complete set of unique alleles in a species or population. So, when there is diversity in the gene pool, there is difference in the characteristics of species.
A gene getting on the pool. A gene getting off the pool.
Out of the Gene Pool ended in 2008.
Gene shuffling is the process of recombining the starting pool of sequences to generate new gene-sequences that subsequently can be screened for particular desired characteristics.
A gene pool is the total number of genes of every individual in an interbreeding population. Which is like having every single gene of a population into one big pool (population).
The entire collection of genes among a population is called the "gene pool".
