it's a bobble that goes on your key ring along with your keys
The battery in the keyfob could be dead, or there is a programing issue between the keyfob and the cars computer.
Most common causes - Keyfob battery needs replacing, or keyfob electronics have been damaged by immersion in water or excessive heat.
Procedure to reprogram a lost keyfob for a Peugeot 407 sw 2007
Do the simple thing first. Replace the batteries in the keyfob. The batteries are available at any big box store and if they have a jewelry department they might change them for you.
You hold the Black button on the keyfob in for 10 seconds. Repeat if necessary to register the keyfob to the alarm system.
Press the button on your keyfob
Hi ! What is the problem ? Have you replaced an old battery ? I had a problem with my keyfob after replacing an old battery. The fob had no contact with the car. I then tried to open the left door lock manually with key and suddenly the fob was working again. Maybe there is need for some sort of datarecognition between the keyfob and the lock. Try Regards Bo L
No. Key or keyfob button only
Press the unlock button twice located on the keyfob.
You use that other thing on the key ring, I think it is called a key.
My keyfob says Quantum. I believe its a rebadged scorpion
If you have 1 key: Switch on the ignition, press the large keyfob twice within 10 seconds. If you have 2 keys: You will need to check which is primary and which is secondary, open the keys and there should be a small label inside with either PRIM or SEC. Switch on the ignition and press the large button on the primary keyfob first, then the secondary within 10 seconds. NB: Some models require the battery to be removed from the keyfob for a minute before recoding. The above worked fine for my 2000 (W) Pug 406 HDi
