A semi-log graph is used in plotting exponential graphs. It is used in graphing data with a very large range on one axis which does not follow a linear progression.
The three kinds of graph is bar graph, line graph, and pie graph. bar graph is used to compare two or more things. A line graph is used to show changes over time. A pie graph is used to show proportions.
A pier chart is used to compare relative parts of a whole.
You would use a bar graph to show data changes over time or to show comparisons among items. A line graph can also be used to show data changes over time or comparisons. A pie/circle graph would be used to show the relative amount/size of items in a data set. A scatter plot is used to show trends and similarities in a large number of data points. b/c of big values which are in the form of exponents and powers,we use semilog graph.....
Semilog (applied to a graph) means that one scale is logarithmic, the other not. The prefix "semi-" means "half" or "partially". The scale that is not logarithmic is, of course, linear.
a "circle graph" is also a polar graph, it's used to graph polar coordinates.
A pie graph is used for percentage.

A bar graph is used to compare and contrast while the column graph is used to count things
the line graph is the temperature!
A pie graph is used to show the proportions of a whole.
