I believe that Theodore Schwan came up with the theory that all animals are made of cells. His partner, Matthias Schleiden, stated that all plants are made of cells.

Together, they developed the Cell Theory, which states that all living things are made of cells.

Theodor sachwan which is German biologist (1839) studied the animal parts and described their study as animal parts are made of cell .a cell is a basic unit of life. he extended schleiden cell theory from plant to animal and stated that all living thing composed of cell( cell is defined as a structural,functional and biological unit of all organism.cell theory was given by schleiden and schwan where schleiden studied plants part under microscope and schwan studied animal parts respectively)
