There is no difference. They both refer to a process by which mineral Ions in the form of dissolved salts are removed from water. Note that this process only removes dissolved salts and not organic materials such as bacteria or microbes. This process is used in most chemistry labs because it is fairly cheap and quick and produces sufficiently pure water for most work. For Biology I would imagine they would use something along the lines of Distilled water(boiling off water and collecting the gas).
PH : 6.5 to 7.5 Conductivity : Less than 10 µs/cm. Chloride : Less than 0.5 ppm. L. GRAGORI, Tiruchirapalli-620 014,India.
Demineralized (DM) water is another name for deionized (DI) water. It is water from which the (mineral) ions have been removed. It's a type of purified water, which is water that has been filtered or treated in some way to improve it for consumption or other uses. A link can be found below.when the water is passing through ionexenger means stronge acid cation, stronge base anion or mixed bed. that water is called deminaraliged water.
30 cm = 3 dm.
No 1 dm = 10 cm
By unit of length and distance and conversion ,we can say that 1 dm=10 cm 53.6 dm=536 cm that is, 536 cm is equal to 53.6 dm
what is difference between MD and dm degree
MD is Medical Doctor and DM is Doctrate in Medicine
Dm = 10 meters, dm = 0.1 meters. Note that neither unit is very common. Engineers usually prefer powers of 1000 (powers of 10, where the exponent is a multiple of 3), such as kilo, Mega, Giga ... and milli, micro, nano ... Specifically for units of length, the prefix "centi" (1/100), i.e. centimeter, is also quite popular.
DM stands for DextroMethorphan which is a cough suppressantPE stands for PhenylEphrine which is a decongestant
ph of DM water is 6.5 to 7.1 conductivity of Dm water is near 000
what will be the TOC content in DM water
Unit of dm water conductivity is microsiemens/cm
10 cm = 1 dm.
1 liter = 1 cubic dm
Purified water goes through several processes, which remove impurities. These processes, especially distillation, can remove many minerals from the water, but they can not be completely removed. Demineralized (DM) water goes through a special chemical process, which removes the mineral ions. This process is quicker, and can be done with scale build up. The end result is very similar to distilled water, however the demineralizing process cannot remove organic molecules, such as viruses and bacteria.
viscocity of dm water
The conversion relations between dm and cm are given .the relation is as follows . 1 dm=10 cm. So, 70 dm=700 cm.
