An AC generator (Alternator). A rotor is turned into a magnet by what is known as 'excitation' current. The rotor then induces AC current in the stator windings as it is rotated within it.
This is AC, due to the fact that the rotor has a north and south pole, which alternately induces current in the stator windings. The exitation current is provided to the rotor via slip rings. Controlling this excitation current will also control the output power by suitable control circuitry.
This is the same principle, whether it is a small domestic generator, a power station, a wind turbine, or a car alternator.
With a generator...
It takes one ton of coal to generate an average of 2500 KWH of electricity.
In order to Generate a windmill, there needs to be strong wind. - Ryan James GuidryCoal is used to generate electricity.
rubbing two sticks together will generate a fire
Its used to generate electricity!!!!:)
depends on the size of the solar panel and the weather. the bigger the solar panel and sunny weather will generate more electricity
An ac motor cannot generate electricity but its shaft can be coupled to that of certain devices like an alternator to in order to generate electricity.
to generate electricity to demonstrate the ac current is harmless
wind energy
yes
To generate clocks and to generate power
Windmills generate electricity on the spot. This electricity is then cabled into the closest grid.
As long as they have the sun, they can generate electricity. So the Sun :)
by wires <<>> Electricity is not a collectible commodity. It is generated and distributed as the demand requires. Small amounts of DC electricity can be stored in a capacitor but is not viable as an AC source. Electricity is distributed by wire conductors.
the island generate electricity from sae water
Using coal to generate electricity. (APEX)
Nope, Carpet will generate Static electricity and a light bulb needs AC or DC current.
wires and batteries and things like lemon juice or lime juice which is acidic
