Basic format for any hypothesis has always been taught as; IF/Then. Ex. If there are 100mg of salt in the water then the water will freeze at a lower temperature
Though there is not really any "format" to a hypothesis it is normally written in this format.
simply state what you think may be correct. make sure that your hypothesis is not in the form of a question. but rather a statement.
It is whatever you want it to be. Just make sure that includes what you are trying to test, and is in the if-then format.
A hypothesis should be witten in a way that can be 1 tested by an experiment and 2 stated as a definite statement.
A hypothesis. Format: If... then... because...
After it it's then and then because

When more than one hypothesis is shown on a scientific paper, the alternative hypotheses can be numbered. They could use a format like, Hypothesis No. 1, Hypothesis No. 2, and so on.
After it it's then and then because
To format a hypothesis in a research study, clearly state the relationship between two variables, making a prediction about how they are related. Use an "if-then" statement to articulate the expected outcome of the study based on the proposed relationship between the variables.
To make a hypothesis (educated guess) you must put what you think you will happen in this format"If _____[I do this] _____, then _____[this]_____ will happen." for example: if I use fertilizer on a plant then the plant will grow more than the one without fertilizer.
