Limiting factors in solving a scientific problem can include the availability of resources, such as time, funding, and equipment. Additionally, the complexity of the problem itself and the constraints of current knowledge or technology can hinder progress. Moreover, biases and assumptions in the research process may affect interpretation and analysis of data, leading to incomplete or inaccurate conclusions. Collaboration and communication among researchers can also be a limiting factor if not effectively managed.

The scientific method is just organized so that everybody can follow it. I guess it also depends on how you solve the problem. If it's dumb luck then....you wouldn't be able to reproduce the results. So with the scientific method the results or solving the problem would be able to be reproduced.
