Expel is to emit with some force. If you mix soda water (Coke ® ) with Mentos ® (a candy that dissolves and combines with the Coke ®) the result is carbon dioxide gas bubbles in a foamy mixture of Coke ®. This foam is expelled from the bottle. Or vinegar with baking soda. Similar but less reactive expulsion.
