Convection Current
Longshore current is the movement of water nearest the coast. Usually caused by tides. Longshore drift is the movement of beach or coastal material, by longshore drift. The action of waves loosen the material, which is then moved by the current and deposited further down tide. The action is greater during storms.
Thunder
mercali scale is based on observed damage caused such as proportion of buildings damaged, etc. Richter sacle is measured by the speed of movement of ground. It is a more objective measure of an earth quake magnitude.
One is caused by an allergic reaction, one is caused by a virus
The process that caused the movement of the dye is called diffusion. Diffusion is the movement of molecules from an area of higher concentration to an area of lower concentration, resulting in a uniform distribution of the dye molecules. This process is driven by the random thermal motion of molecules and is a fundamental concept in chemistry and biology.
Convection Current
The resistance to movement on surfaces that touch is called friction. It is caused by the interaction between the irregularities of the two surfaces, which creates a force that opposes the motion of the objects.
The movement of material due to differences in density caused by differences in temperature is called convection.
Magnetic friction can either attract or repel objects, which can slow down or speed up their movement. This friction is caused by the interaction between magnetic fields and the objects, influencing their motion.
Plate movement is caused by the interaction between the Earth's lithospheric plates at plate boundaries. These plates can move away from each other at divergent boundaries, towards each other at convergent boundaries, or past each other at transform boundaries. The movement of the plates is driven by processes such as seafloor spreading, subduction, and transform faulting.
The movement of material due to differences in density caused by differences in temperature is called convection. Warm, less dense material rises while cooler, denser material sinks, creating a circulating flow within a fluid.
The Abolitionist Movement!
The core of the earth contains radioactive material and this causes a convection current in the mantle.
The opposition to the movement of charges flowing through a material is called resistance. Resistance is caused by collisions between the moving charges and atoms in the material, which convert some of the electrical energy into heat. It is measured in ohms (Ω).
The fluttering of a flag is primarily caused by wind. When the wind blows, it creates air pressure differences on either side of the flag, causing it to move and ripple. Additionally, the flag's fabric and design contribute to how it catches the wind, enhancing the fluttering effect. Overall, the interaction between the wind and the material of the flag results in its characteristic movement.
Frictional resistance is the force that opposes the movement of an object over a surface, resulting from the interaction between the surface and the object. It is caused by the microscopic irregularities on both surfaces that come into contact and create resistance to motion.
Viscous drag is a type of drag force caused by the interaction between an object and the fluid it's moving through. It occurs when a fluid resists the motion of an object, resulting in a slowing or halt in its movement.
