Symetrical line
The portion of the fluid at the center is not slowed down as much by drag from the sides of the pipe.
Tipi's take a shape of a triangular pyramid. First there are three main poles (sticks). Then four poles (sticks) are attached on to each side, in this case 3 sides. At the top there is a small flap to let smoke get out and finally the three corners are hammered down but not the sides so air can seek in. made out of buffalo skins and other skins as well
world trade centre been knocked down by terrorists. also called 9/11
It's a fracture in the upper thigh bone, a crack running down both sides of it.
A fault that forms at a transform boundary
A 20 sided shape has 209 diagonals i worked it out by drawing a table and split it into 4 colunms. I named the first one Name of polygon and the second one Number of sides the next one, Angle at centre and the last one Diagonals. I started with a Triangle which has 3 sides and its angle at centre is 120 degrees but, it doesn't have any diagonals so i put 0. Next i used a quadrilateral which has 4 sides and its angle at centre is 90 degrees and, it does have diagonals it has 2. Afterthat i put down a pentagon which has 5 sides its angle at centre is 72 degrees and it has 5 diagonals. I kept the process going so i put down Hexagon, Heptagon, Octagon, Nonagon and finally Decagon when, i had finished filling in the rest this was my results:Hexagon= Had 6 sides its angle at centre 60 degrees and its diagonals 9Heptagon= Had 7 sides its angle at centre 51.5 degrees and its diagonals 14Octagon= Had 8 sides its angle at centre 45 degrees and its diagonals 20Nonagon= Had 9 sides its angle at centre 40 degrees and its diagonals 27Decagon= Had 10 sides its angle at centre 36 degrees and its diagonals 35this is my results just for DiagonalsTriangle=0Quadrilateral=2Pentagon=5Hexagon=9Heptagon=14Octagon=20Nonagon=27Decagon=35Can you see a pattern?well i can see a pattern that adds a different number every time which is:it adds 2it adds 3it adds 4it adds 5it adds 6it adds 7it adds 8it adds 9so for a 20 sided shape you need to take 35 and add on 10 etc to 20. This is my results:35 + 9 = 4444 + 10 = 5454 + 11 = 6565 + 12 = 7777 + 13 = 9090 + 14 = 104104 + 15 = 119119 + 16 = 135135 + 17 = 152152 + 18 = 170170 + 19 = 189189 + 20 = 209So the answer is 209 diagonals on a 20 sided shape :-P
draw line down the middle and fold over without overlap or point mirror down centre point and see if there is same shape
yes because the pressure or weight on the bridge pushes down and the weight goes down the two sides. the triangle is best when it is in the downward "V" shape.
Both views are of a rectangle. One of the sides will be of the same size but he other dimensions can be different.
The portion of the fluid at the center is not slowed down as much by drag from the sides of the pipe.
1 pair of parallel sides mean 1 pair of non-intersecting lines for example, squares, their lines don't touch when they up or down.
The diameter of a circle or sphere is the length of a straight line that touches both sides and passes through the centre.
Penguins, like all vertebrates, have bilateral symmetry. This means they have symmetry across one plane (known as the sagittal plane, and directly down the centre of their body), which means one side of their body approximately mirrors the other side.
When enlarging a shape through a centre (O in this case, which is the usual letter of the origin for x/y axes) measure the distance from each point on the shape to the centre of enlargement, multiply it by the scale factor to get the new distance and then (keeping the measuring device, eg ruler, still) measure the new distance from the centre.By having a scale factor the exact size of the image is known; andby having a centre of enlargement the exact position of the image is known.Note: When the scale factor is negative, the distances will change sign and so be measured in the opposite direction.So in this case, the following will happen:. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . . ./\ . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . . / .\. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . ./__\ . . . . . .O . . . \ . . ./. .. . / . . .\. . . . . . .* . . . \--/. .. ./. . . . \ . . . . . . . . . . .\/ . . .. / . . . . .\. . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .Where the A shape on the left becomes the (smaller) upside down A on the right when enlarged with a scale factor of -½ and centre O.(You'll have to excuse the ASCII graphics for not complete accuracy.)
The E36 was also known as the "dolphin shape" Maybe because of the shape of the D-pillar (each side of the rear window) leading down to the sides of the boot/trunk - looks like a bottle nose dolphin.
A 'V' haircut is where the hair is shaved at the temples down (the sides). At the back the hair is shaved down at an angle from the crown to the nape to look like the shape 'V'.
Make a five hand shape. drag your thumb on both sides of your chin starting at the top and going down
