There is a simple answer to that question, THERE IS NO PURPOSE. Artificial life should never be created, its too dangerous! Have you ever seen Battlestar Galactica???
There are many purposes for creating artificial life. First off, human curiosity -- biologists have always speculated about the rise of life on planet Earth, and as there is yet no way to peer back in time (whether through fossils or time machines) to the dawn of life on planet Earth, we have to instead try to mimic conditions on the early Earth in order to see whether life might form.
What would the point be for having artificial life around if we've managed to create it? Time and again, human society manages to find important uses for scientific discoveries. If we ever manage to produce artificial life, we could study the differences and similarities between them and us (nothing says the life we make must be RNA based, or even Carbon-based), which would at least help the more paranoid of us defend ourselves against them.
Speaking of which, wouldn't artificial life be dangerous? That is very unlikely, Battlestar Galactica or not. Chances are any life resembling life near its beginnings on Earth would asphyxiate in the oxygen-rich atmosphere in the present day. Either way, young life would have had little time to optimize for its environment (we're talking millions of years here) and would pose little threat.
The only alternative to artificial lighting is natural lighting and that is available only a portion of the day unless you happen to have some sort of photo-luminescent life form in your home; however, biological light is typically very dim.
Uranium is not artificial radioactivity so it is not clear what the question is about.
Artificial smells are made just like any fake smell, with chemicals or some kind of extract. I hope this was useful!
Yes.
Artificial breeding is the act of manually inserting sperm into a female to get it pregnant. This is done with no contact between the male and female at all.
There are three distinct types of approaches to creating life named for their approaches: soft from software, hard from hardware, and wet from biochemistry.

Artificial sperm is only a catalyst for conception. Its the DNA what really creates life.

Dubai, of the United Arab Emirates, is creating artificial islands.
After purpose, an individual may consider setting goals or taking action to fulfill that purpose. This could involve creating a plan, making decisions, and taking steps towards achieving their ultimate objective or fulfilling their life's purpose.
Artificial Textures are created and designed by human beings for a specific purpose to give a sense of volume
Glue made for that purpose.
When a patient needs a machine, or a ventilator to breath for them, then that patient is on artificial life support. When a patient does not have the ability to breath on their own, or eat on their own, they will need artificial life support, or they will die.
-For medical uses -For beauty (jewelry, etc.) -For creating artificial things
Sunken ships have been used to fulfill this purpose.
the artificial heart is used to save human life when a human's heart fails.
