Is there any classification for supplementary units?

The supplementary units are the radian and steradian units. This SI classification was made in 1995 but was later abandoned and the units were regrouped as derived units.

What is scientific name of candle?

Candela is the current SI unit of luminous intensity, which is equal to 1/683 Watts per steradian with a frequency of 540 THz (lime colour as a specific fequency corresponds to a specific colour of light). A watt is 1 joule of energy per second, a steradian is the 3D equivalent of a radian.

What is a unit used to measure an angle?

A degree is the measure of an angle.

What is the SI unit of wind direction?

That would be an angle; the SI unit for angle is the radian. However, that is not the unit that is commonly used in this case.

Torque and work is a product of force and distance.Yet torque and work are different. What is it about the distances that makes the torque and work different?

Torque describes a rotational force, caused by a force acting at right-angles to the radius of rotation. To measure torque, we multiply the force, in newtons, by the radius of rotation in metres -so, torque is measured in newton metres (N.m).Work is measured by multiplying the force on an object by the distance through which it moves, and is measured in joules (J).The work done by force of torque (not by torque) is determined by multiplying the force, not by the radius of rotation, but by the distance the force acts around the circumference of rotation. So, if torque causes a complete rotation, then the work done by that torque will be the force times (2 pi r).One joule is equal to one newton-meter. It is a measure of work or energy.Torque can be expressed in joules (J), but they really mean joules per radian. They're talking about the amount of work this torque is capable of doing for each radian of rotation. When using radian measure mention of radian is often left out, as in this case.

Is there any relatoin between radian and steradian?

nopes. radian is the ratio between the length of an arc and its radius. A steradian can be defined as the solid angle subtended at the center of a unit sphere by a unit area on its surface. For a general sphere of radius r, any portion of its surface with area A = r2 subtends one steradian.

What is the ratio between radian and steradian?

There is no direct ratio between radians and steradians since they measure different things. Radians measure angles in a two-dimensional plane, while steradians measure solid angles in three-dimensional space. However, both units are related by the formula: 1 steradian = (4π/1) square radians.

How many electrical charges are there in a radian?

There is no relationship between electric charge and a radian which is an angular measurement.

How do you convert steradians into radian?

You do not convert. STERADIAN is a two dimensioal measurement RADIAN is a one dimensional measurement. Just as you cannot convert area into degrees (of angular measurement)

What is the relation between radian and real numbers?

A radian is simply a measurement unit. The relation between a radian and real numbers is similar to the relation between a degree and real numbers or a metre and real numbers.

Is there any classification for supplementary units?

The supplementary units are the radian and steradian units. This SI classification was made in 1995 but was later abandoned and the units were regrouped as derived units.

How many radians are in one steradian?

None. A radian is a measure of angular separation in 1-dimensional space, a steradian is a measure in 2-dimensional space. It makes no sense to try to convert from one to the other.

The difference between radian measure and degree measure?

Degree measure is based off of a division of 360 degrees in a circle. Radian measure is based off of a division of 2PI in a full circle.

What the difference between radians and degrees?

degree and radian are juest unit measurment of angle

What is the formula for converting 15 degrees to radian?

1 degree = pi*radian/180 So therefore 15 times pi*radian/180 = pi*radian/12

Is a degree or a radian the larger unit of measure?

One radian is equal to roughly 57 degrees!

How do you change trigonometry value into a degree?

You want to change radian to degrees. To change radian to degree, multiply the radian by 180 and divide by PI, where PI=3.14159. For example 2 radians = 2 (180)/3.14159 = 114.59 degrees.
