Educationis the goal! The modern educational system is designed to teach students the information they will need when they graduate and live on their own - both the thinking process itself, facts and information, and skills. According to J. W. Gardener, "The ultimate goal of the education system is to shift to the individual the burden of pursuing his (her) own education". That is to say, it is the teachers role to facilitate education through various means (see Kolb D.A. et al) rather than teach at learners. Creating interest and a willingness to learn, by showing a reason to learn, are the mainstays of education
