There no unit of measure specifically for a canned soft drink. What unit of measure you use will depend on whether you are talking about its height, its volume, its sugar content, its refractive index, etc.
It is usually measured in ounces. For example, there are 12 ounces of liquid in a standard can of soda.
Normally 330ml

milliliter
First of all it's "What unit of measurement would you use to measure the diameter of a drink can?" Secondly you would probably use either centimeters or inches, depending on where you are in the world.
Many containers and cartons of volume are measured in millilitres; a teaspoon is traditionally 5mL, so as a unit to measure capacity: yes, they are good. However, in a 2 litre bottle (common size) there are 2000/5 = 400 teaspoons. While this is easy enough to write on the label - indeed, soft drink cans are often 355 mL, so there is no real difference bar that of unit - it is extremely difficult to measure out 400 teaspoons accurately. As a way to fill that capacity (i.e. "measure it out"): no, they are terible.

A unit can be a measure of length. It is one-dimensional. A squared unit can be a measure of area. It is two-dimensional. A cubic unit can be a measure of volume. It is three-dimensional.
This depends on what unit you are using to measure in. However, area will always be measure in (unit)^2.
