It is called: observation.
Because that's how the scientific method works. You see something happening, you get an idea of why it happens that way, then you perform an experiment to see if your idea is correct.
The initial observation sets the scene for an experiment...what did you see? what was happening? How to improve it? And so on. As the experiment proceeds you record all observations..what do you see?...what is happening? Etc. At the end you note the final observations and how do they differ from the initial observations. So, Initial observation is the observations you made initially of an experiment.
experiment
It's something that you measure (called the dependent variable) or something that you change to see what happens (the independent variable). for example, if you were conducting an experiment to see how many monkeys you saw when you left bananas where you could see them, the independent variable might be the number of bananas you put out, and the dependent variable might be the number of moneys you see in a given amount of time. The variables are named that way because (assuming that the number of bananas and the number of monkeys is in fact related) the number of monkeys DEPENDS on the nmber of bananas, whereas you just decide how many bananas to use on a particular run of the experiment.
After the experiment, scientists organize and analyze the data. Which therefore means that the scientists will create something to tell what is going on with there experiment and how long it goes for and if anything improved or something changed.
Observation
observation
observed? probably not but thought i'd try an answer
Observation is the act of watching and noting a phenomenon in an experiment. It involves recording data, patterns, and outcomes to draw conclusions and make inferences based on the results.

Put something in a glass of water, and see if it floats.
For animal abuse and if you see something bad happening to a animal you call them.
It allows politicians to tell voters "See? I did something." even if it really does no good.
See.
That is to "recognise".
something you use to gather evidence that you cant see.
