Conduction and Convection
Convection is the transfer with in the fluid. If a container of hot liquid is touching something then it is conduction. If the heat is travelling through the air then it is radiation.
Conduction
convection
It is called Convection.
Via convection.
In both cases, heat is transferred via convection.
Conduction and Convection
Heat from Earth's interior via convection currents.
From the surface, it would be via convection currents
Via convection currents and hot spots in the mantle.
Yep, the heat is transferred via convection when fluid flow is involved, which is primarily blood flow. For example, you hands are cold, then warm blood flow helps to warm them up. That's convection. Sure conduction is also involved. When heat must pass solid barrier such as cell walls then the heat is transferred via conduction.
Heat can be transferred via conduction, convection, and radiation.
Yes. the other 2 methods by which heat is transferred is via convection and radiation.
Heat in liquid is primarily transferred via convection and conduction. Conduction is a short range force, it arises from the transfer of energy via molecular vibration. Convection is more to do with the motion of the liquid as a whole. Conduction trasmits the heat from molecule to molecule, convection causes motion within the liquid due to hotter parts becoming less dense and rising.
in fact all:) since convection is a kind of conduction, which means heat is transferred via motion of the air surround us, we loose heat by conduction with our clothes, convection from our uncovered skin areas and radiation the same
The sun heats the Earth, and then longwave radiation heats the troposphere via convection currents.
