There is probably a very long list of non-safety items, but SAFETY should always be first.

Standard rules will include:

Do not eat, drink, smoke or chew gum.

Always wear eye protection

Don't run around with equipment, acids, caustics, or just don't run around at all. Be careful when handling stuff, wear aprons/ gloves.
