6000 watts.
There's two wires to connect... just put them where they belong. Positive to the solenoid, negative to the starter body.
Hook it up correctly and see if everything is ok.
Does it turn over at normal speed? If not may be weak starter and has to cool prior to re-starting
I just replaced a starter on my daughter's 98 Plymouth breeze. It was upfront and very easy to do. Unscrew the bolts holding the starter. Make sure that you have your positive cable off of your battery. Unplug what I call the alligator clip from the old one and slip onto the new starter and screw the bolts back on the new starter and hookup the positive cable and crank the car. I am a female and I found it took me about 45 min to do and I am by no means a mechanic.
I need an installation diagram for a 4 battery hookup for a 1982 international 2 ton or better diesel truck thank you
You should have 4 cables that hook up to the solenoid. Once the solenoid is installed the positive battery cable goes to the left side. The big stud. If you're looking straight at it. If you are standing over it it will be the front side of car, or your right side. There should be another cable that runs opposite of that side to the starter. There is only one place on the starter for this to hook up too. Make sure there is a good connection there. The 2 smaller cables are for ignition and start. The smaller hookup on the left side (same side as battery positive) should be your S, the other I.
To hookup the solenoid switch on F150 pick-up 5.0 after replacing it, first connect a voltmeter or test light to the solenoid's S terminal. Make sure the starter receives voltage at that terminal when the ignition switch is in the on position.
"Hookup" implies getting together for sex. If that's what you mean, just tell him you really want to hookup.
Not likely. But you would get a big spark putting the cables on the battery. Sounds like you have a short, or bad altenator, battery
You can get a wireless hookup for your laptop with a cellphone company.
how to hookup 1998 grand am alternator
Connect the positive (+) Red cable from the charger to the positive (+) post of the battery. Now connect the negative (-) Black cable to a metal part of the engine. Do not connect to negative battery post. Plug the charger in. Unplug the charger before removing the cables. Disconnect the negative cable first.
