Charles' Law describes how gases expand when they are heated. Jacques Charles conducted experiments by filling balloons with various types of gases, then heating them and observing how they expanded.
The scientific principle Jacques Charles discovered was Charles' Law. This principle found that gases that were heated without a change in pressure increased in volume.
The date that Jacques Charles married Julie Charles is not known. Jacques Charles is most known as a French mathematician and inventor.
Many things; i recently did a report on him and also boyle's to but Charles was famous for Charles' Law which mainly is saying that if the temperature rises then the volume will also rise while the pressure stays constant. He also confirmed Benjamin Francklin's electricity experiment. He invented many other things including the first helium balloon. Hope that helps!!
Because he discovered the direct relatioinship between the volume of a gas and its temperature

Jacques Alexandre César Charles was born Nov. 12, 1746 in n Beaugency, Loiret, France. He is best known for his formulation in 1787 of one of the basic gas laws, known as Charles's law, which states that, at constant pressure, the volume occupied by a fixed weight of gas is directly proportional to the absolute temperature. In 1783, realizing that hydrogen was lighter than air, he made the first balloon using hydrogen gas and, on August 27, 1783, the balloon ascended to a height of nearly 3,000 feet (914 meters). Upon landing outside of Paris, it was destroyed by terrified peasants.Charles invented most of the equipment that is still used in today's balloons. Charles is credited with inventing some relatively minor but ingenious instruments, such as a device for measuring the angles of crystal (a goniometer). He also invented the mega scope, which magnifies large objects, and he improved instruments for measuring specific gravity and for tracking the Sun's rays. Charles developed a valve to let hydrogen out of the balloon and other devices, such as the hydrometer and reflecting goniometer. He was the Inventor of a thermometric hydrometer.
