"Jumping to a conclusion" is not knowing all the facts and forming a conclusion. Drawing a conclusion is learning all the facts to make a conclusion if it is correct or not.
i think its your prediction of what you think will happen. your method usually follows then your conclusion. your conclusion depicts whether your hypothesis was right or not. Im sure people will correct me if Im wrong though :)
