The yeast cells will ferment the glucose in to ethyl alcohol and Carbon dioxide. The CO2 being in the gaseous form will diffuse in the atmosphere and in the test tube, ethyl alcohol in diluted form with water will be found.

How long do you fast for a fasting glucose blood test?
