What units are used to measure energy (apex)?

Standard: 1 JouleImperial: 1 CalorieAnswerEnergy is usually measured in terms of heat, which is measured in calories or joules or Btu - British thermal units.

What is heat typically measured in?

The word "heat" as used in physics refers to heat energy, so it is logically measured in units of energy. The international unit for energy is the joule. Heat energy is sometimes still measured in the old-fashioned unit "calorie" instead.

What is voltameter?

A voltammeter is a type of scientific instrument used for measuring electrical quantities. These are measured in two SI units: the electric potential (volt) and the electricity's quantity (coulomb).

What unit is commonly used to measure the salt content of water?

the unit of mass is used to measure the salt.If salt is less in quantity it is measured in mg else it is measured in gm or kg.

What is the quantity measured by a barometer?

Barometers are used to measure pressure.

What unit is used to measure heat intensity?

Heat intensity (how Hot is it) is measured by the objects Temperature in Degrees, Fahrenheit, Centigrade, or Kelvin. Heat content (energy) is most commonly measured in Calories.

What is the units for heat energy formula?

The standard unit for heat energy is the same as for any other type of energy, namely the Joule. For historical reasons, some other units are sometimes used, e.g., calorie, or BTU. But if you want to do calculations with SI units, any energy should be measured in Joule, to be consistent. The standard unit for heat energy is the same as for any other type of energy, namely the Joule. Why are square units used when working with a three-dimensional figure?

Surface area of three dimensional figures are measured in square units whereas their volumes are measured in cubic units

How do units that are used to measure heat are different from the units that are used to measure temperature?

Heat is measured in calories or BTU, whilst temperature is measured in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit.1 calorie is the heat to raise 1 gram of water by 1 degree C1 BTU is the heat to raise 1 pound of water by 1 degree FHeat is the amount of energy in a system measured in Joules. Temp is the MEASURE of the AVERAGE molecular motions in a system F/CAnother AnswerIn SI, heat is measured in joules and temperature in kelvin.
