published his atomic theory describing the atom as having a central positive nucleus surrounded by negative orbiting electrons.
or so my book says...
Lord Rutherford
He gave the temp. measuring unit Kelvin.
An umbilical hernia was left unoperated on for too long. He died after the operation. Rutherford died on October 19 1937 from a hernia. There was a delay in his operation because he was a Lord and was required to be operated on by a titled doctor (a sir) it was this delay that caused him to die.
C.E. means common era or current era. It's a religiously neutral substitute for A.D. which stands for Anno Domini meaning "in the year of the Lord," which is a Christian designation.
Yes science is a good thing and a bad thing but it benefits us more than it creates problems. Really it is not science that is bad, but the people that use it.ya.., it is bane for our spiritual life..., in this modern life we have no time to spend with our lord it's main reason is Technology Development.., i think, science is more of boon to us than bane.without science,we are simply retarted,we can't do many things without the help of science, the technology!!!!however, its misuse can prove to be bane for us,if we start depending on it more than we should.take help from the science technology only when it is xtremelt important, try to do simple works yourself, dunn depend completely on science only. so,science is a boon and a bane,it depends on us how we take it,how we use it!science is neither a boon nor a curse. its a future understanding for the mankindScience is definitely a boon. In fact all of us have been caught in the material boundary. Then only through systematic study ie scientific means we can find the cause for the bondage and the ways to get rid off such bondage. Other wise no way to come out of the mesh. Of course with scientific achievements some of us use them in the negative sense. Science alone would find the apt reason for some of us think in the negative sense. So science alone could alone solve it. Hence science is boon.
why was Ernest Rutherford's nickname lord Rutherford
lord rutherdord

Rutherford performed the 'gold foil experiment' to test his hypothesis that much of an atom's mass is concentrated in its nucleus. But he did this after he had won the Nobel Prize for other contributions, and before he had led students who would themselves win the Nobel Prize. Please see the link.
he died in cambridge 1937
Rutherford was a famous Russian scientist who discovered nucleus in chemistry. his full name was lord ernest Rutherford
