Well, the Universe has only existed for about 14.7 billion years, so the first 433 billion years were uninteresting. Then the Earth only formed about 4 - 5 billion years ago, so the atmosphere was very tenuous until that time.
It was mainly made up of four gases: Water vapour, Oxygen, Carbon dioxide and nitrogen. The water vapour and carbon dioixde came from volcanoes erupting around 300 million years ago (300,000,000).there you go george you lazy fat chicken wing. hey hey hey kyle guess what your mums FAT!!!!!!!
That depends how many millions of years you go back in time. One or two million years ago, it was probably quite similar to today's atmosphere. On the other hand, 3 billion years or so there was hardly any oxygen - until living beings started producing oxygen, resulting in an environmental catastrophe (the "Oxygen Catastrophe") which almost killed all life on Earth! If you go back even further in time, there was an atmosphere that consisted mainly of hydrogen. For more details, check the Wikipedia article "Atmosphere of Earth".
The Earth likely looked very different 200 million years ago. The Earth likely had far more vegetation and animal life.
it was an atmosphere made up of only carbon dioxide
A million years ago it was virtually identical to now, except for a lower slightly lower CO2.
Peevish.
According to the International Commission on Stratgraphy, the Jurassic period lasted from 199.6 million to 145.5 million years ago. It is the middle period of the Mesozoic ("middle life") Era. This is the period when the dinosaurs were predominantly present on the face of earth, various species of the same were present everywhere. But an unexplainable event turn things around.
50 million years ago
From about 5 million years ago to about 5000 years ago.
Where DID trilobites live? In the ocean, between 530 million and 250 million years ago.
Pangaea was the supercontinent into which all the land masses were concentrated until about 200 million years ago.
1000 millions years ago.
4500 years ago :)
about 4500 years ago.
Around 4500 years ago.
4500 years ago
You have written 25 years ago there. But I'm taking it you meant 25,000 years ago.The year currently is 2011, so you would do 2011+2489, which comes to 4500.So your answer is no, it was not 25,000 years ago - nor 25 years ago - but 4500 years ago.
16 million years ago approximately
1.8 million years ago
4600 million years ago
570 million years ago was in the Neoproterozoic Era. This lasted from 1,000 to 542 million years ago.
From about 180 million years ago until about 65 million years ago.
The Coelophysis was a theropod that lived between 200 and 220 million years ago during the late Triassic period. Paleontologists believe these dinosaurs became extinct due to severe weather changes and a poisoned atmosphere.
