You can really only answer one question per experiment, but you can do as many experiments as you like, to answer as many questions as you like. The problem with trying to answer more than one question per experiment, is that you will not know how to interpret the data. Let us say you would like to know how a given species of plants will respond to more water, and how it will respond to more sunlight. You increase both, and the plant grows faster. OK, maybe the sunlight was causing the plant to grow faster, maybe the water was causing the plant to grow faster, maybe it was the combination of the two that caused the plant to grow faster; maybe it would have grown just as fast with more sunlight but the same amount of water, and so forth. There are lots of possibilities. Why you need is an experiment that gives a clear and unambiguous result. If you just change one variable, you will know that what variable is responsible for the observed result.

What is the logical and systematic way of answering science questions?

It is logical to answer science questions by using your knowledge of science to answer only those questions to which you actually know the answer, and by answering them as accurately as you can without becoming so technical that your reader would have trouble understanding you. If I wanted to be systematic in answering science questions I would just answer them in the order in which they were asked.

What does indepedent variable means in science?

The independent variable is the thing that changes with in the experiment to make it an experiment. For example, say I was doing an experiment on something such as "Which sponge brand can absorb the most water?" The independent variable would be the different sponge brands because it would be the thing that changes with in the experiment. Otherwise, if you didn't make an independent variable (the different sponge brands in this case) it wouldn't be an experiment because a sponge of the same brand should hold about the same amount of water as the others.
