Cheating is never tolerated in any tests and especially an exam, HSC, that demine ones path in to their university and subject choice.

However, a case in Advanced English 2002 HSC, a male student was caught cheating under special provision of colour blindness. There was red coloured notes on his hands for his final essay. This was proved by a colourblindness doctor that the boy could not possibly have read the red coloured notes and his HSC mark was not deducted in any way.

Moral of this case: taking advantage of your special provision is possible to gain marks while cheating but also having a relative working as a doctor :)
