Questacon is a National Science and Technology Centre, located on the southern shore of Lake Burley Griffin in Canberra, Australia. It is a large centre with more than 200 interactive exhibits relating to science and technology. It opened in September 1980. It was developed by Professor Mike Gore, a physics lecturer from the Australian National University. Professor Gore was the founding Director of Questacon.
Lawrence Neild was the architect and he was in his his early 20's when he did it!
