Non renewable energy sources include mainly coal, oil and gas.

Materials (Plants, animals) were buried in earth in mass in the form of forests, reef (algae). These upon action of pressure of the top soil deposited over them and due to the heat were converted into oil, gas or coal.

The energy stored in these forms of resources are basically those contained in those buried materials.

What are renawable and non renawable sources?

Renewable sources are energy resources that can be replenished naturally over short periods, such as solar, wind, hydro, and geothermal energy. In contrast, non-renewable sources are finite resources that take millions of years to form, including fossil fuels like coal, oil, and natural gas, as well as nuclear energy derived from uranium. While renewable sources are more sustainable and environmentally friendly, non-renewable sources are often more readily available and currently dominate global energy consumption. Transitioning to renewable energy is essential for reducing carbon emissions and combating climate change.

Is chemical energy nonrenewable?

Chemical energy is both renewable and non-renewable in different situations. When burning fossile fuel, it is non-renewable. But it is renewable with flowers as long as their source remains available. So if the chemical the energy is being produced from is renewable, then the chemical energy will be too.

What is an example of something that is non-renewable?

Non-renewable resourcesA non-renewable resource is a resource that is being used up faster than it can be replaced by being grown, made or generated. Fossil fuels and nuclear power are non-renewable resources.

How are renewable and non renewable energy sources different list two examples of each of these types of energy sources?

Renewable energy sources are those that can be replenished naturally over time, while non-renewable energy sources are finite and will deplete with use. Examples of renewable energy include solar energy and wind energy, which harness natural processes. In contrast, examples of non-renewable energy sources include coal and natural gas, both of which are derived from fossil fuels and cannot be replaced on a human timescale.

'The disadvantage and disadvantage to the non-renewable source of energy?

It takes millions of years to have more of. That's what makes it non-renewable.

Is sunlight a renewable resource or non-renewable rescource?

They use a renewable source of energy. Most are constructed using non renewable resources.

How can you obtain fossil fuels?

fossil fuels come from non-renewable (will not last forever) energy resources, these non-renewable energy resources (fossil fuels) come from CRUDE OIL, COAL, NATURAL GAS, NUCLEAR, sometimes wood and biomass - this depends on how it is extracted

What is the difference between non-renewable and renewable resources?

Non-renewable resources are finite and will eventually run out, like fossil fuels. Renewable resources can be replenished naturally, like solar or wind energy.

Is sound renewable or non renewable?

Sound energy is renewable because it is converted from other renewable resources.

What is are renewable resources Non renewable resources?

Oil, gas and coal are three examples of non-renewable energy resources. Once these three resources are used up, we can't replace them. We will have to do without, or find an alternative.

What are the consequences of using non renewable energy resources?

The consequences of using non-renewable energy resources include environmental degradation such as air and water pollution, habitat destruction, and contribution to climate change through the release of greenhouse gases. Non-renewable resources are finite and will eventually run out, leading to energy scarcity and economic instability. Additionally, the extraction and transportation of non-renewable resources can have detrimental effects on local communities and ecosystems.

How much money does a non-renewable resources have?

A non renewable resource is a type of energy production and therefore does not have money.

Types of energy resources?

there are three main kinds of energy. these are renewable, nonrenewable, and inexhaustible. renewable resources are resources that can be replaced over time. non renewable resources are resources that can not be replaced in a reasonable time. inexhaustible resources are resources that are constantly produced.

Which is not a renewable energy resources?

Coal is not a renewable energy resource. It is a fossil fuel that is finite and non-renewable, unlike solar, wind, and hydroelectric power which are sustainable and replenishable resources.

Different shapes of renewable from non renewable resources?

Renewable resources come in the form of solar, wind, hydroelectric, and geothermal energy. These resources are naturally replenished over time. Non-renewable resources, on the other hand, include fossil fuels like coal, oil, and natural gas, which are finite and take millions of years to form.
