Assuming you are attempting to puncture a balloon and keep it intact, I would reccomend puncturing the balloon near the knot, where the rubber is thick and not streched out. If you are trying to pop the balloon, then I would puncture the balloon where the rubber is thinnest.
The last section should be a lever with a pin sticking up out of one end, so that when the first end of it is depressed, the pin rises to strike the balloon. The previous sections, including whatever eventually depresses the first end of the lever, are all up to you, and are limited only by your imagination and creativity.
well when the pressure get to much inside the membrane (ballon) burst. The pressure get to much when someone sits on it for example. Another reason it pops is because of a puncture in the ballon (a needle)
between L4 and L5 because the spinal cord stops near L2 and a needle introduced below this level will miss the spinal cord and encounter only nerve roots, which are usually pushed aside.
You are over a large amount of magnetic material (Sewage pipes, a steel building, even a large wristwatch) or your compass needle is defective.
Counting from the top of the lumbar vertebrae, the lumbar puncture is usually done between L3&L4 or between L4&L5. The reason for the choice is because the spinal cord ends with the Cauda Equina (essentially horse hair or horse tail) somewhere around L1 or L2. At this point one no longer has a spinal cord, but rather separate nerves. So, above L1, there would be a significant risk of sticking the needle into the solid spinal cord causing pain and damage. Below L3 the individual nerves will move out of the way of the needle and there is less risk of hitting the spinal cord.
Lumbar puncture is done at the level of L3 to L4.
...by pinching the balloon between your thumb and index finger and inserting the needle between the compressed rubber of the balloon at that point without letting go of the compressed balloon until you release the needle from the balloon.
The tape and cotton can be removed when bleeding at the needle puncture site stops, usually within 15 to 20 minutes. The amount of bleeding should be very light. There is an extremely slight risk of infection at the needle puncture site.
A balloon bursts when the surface tension of the balloon's rubber is broken. If tape is put on the balloon and a needle inserted, the surface tension is held together by the tape.
No, a tattoo needle doesn't penetrate the skin deeply enough to puncture a vein.
If it is a sheetrock wall, hammer in a needle. It will not bend, and it will hold a lot of weight!
A needle is sharp enough to pierce the skin of the balloon. A finger is not.
A needle....>_>
Yes. It has germs on it and a puncture can leave some of the germs inside the puncture to multiply and produce an infection.
lumbar puncture
A needle.
at the part where you blow it up Take a piece of tape and place it over the outside of the balloon. Poke the needle through the tape and through the surface of the balloon. The balloon will not pop because the surface of the balloon cannot expand, thus popping the balloon.
