Nuclear is definitely going to be present, as will hydroelectric, both of which are already well established, wind power is already becoming popular and a great deal of research is being focused of solar energy. Another hopeful is the harnessing of tidal action and waves.
The holy grail of future power production is a commercially viable fusion reactor, the realization of which could be just around the corner or decades away. The JET fusion experiment managed to produce 16MW of power, 65% of the power used to start the fusion reaction.
The energy sources that I am most excited about all have lower carbon emissions, compared to conventional energy sources. These include Biomass Energy, Wind Energy, Solar Energy, Geothermal Energy, and Hydroelectric Energy sources.
Solar energy is a renewable energy source. It is sourced from the sun, which in human timeframes has a long life for energy output. Solar energy is therefore an almost infinite energy source. Most convential energy sources (uranium, coal, oil, gas, etc.) are unrenewable. Such energy sources are sourced from the earth and so are finite. The timeframes for the "finite-ness" of conventional energy sources vary and are disputed. Conventional energy sources also produce negative by-products through their conversion to thermal energy, kinetic energy, and electric energy, such as radioactive waste, sulphur, CO2, etc. Solar energy is a clean (i.e. minimal negative by-products) but diffuse energy source. Current technology developed to capture solar energy is inefficient in capturing and concentrating the energy for distribution and use as thermal energy, and electrical energy, compared to conventional sources.
A physicts
A point in a story that reveals something that will happen in the future.
According to global energy data, the largest source of energy worldwide after fossil fuels is renewable energy, primarily derived from sources such as hydroelectric power, solar energy, and wind energy. Among these, hydropower often contributes the most significant share within the renewable sector. As the world increasingly shifts towards sustainable energy sources, the proportion of renewables in the energy mix continues to grow.
Solar, electrical, or hydrogen powered cars are most likely to be cars of the future.
Answer this question… A loss of potential sources of future medicines
In the most general terms, that would be: (1) Find new energy sources or make better use of the existing energy sources; and (2) Use less energy.

Some sources of future foods or medications would be lost
Burning fossil fuels such as coal and oil is most likely to have a negative effect on air quality. These sources release pollutants like sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, and particulate matter, which can lead to smog, acid rain, and respiratory issues. Transitioning to cleaner energy sources like renewable energy can help improve air quality.
Renewable energy sources, such as solar, wind, and hydroelectric power, are the most effective methods for generating electricity that can significantly decrease a person's carbon footprint. These energy sources produce little to no greenhouse gas emissions during operation, unlike fossil fuels. By transitioning to renewable energy, individuals can reduce their reliance on carbon-intensive electricity generation and contribute to a more sustainable energy future.
As always . . . the Sun. The light can power solar-powered generators. The wind for windmill generators is caused by heat from the Sun, and other factors. The Sun's energy enable plants to make food, and the plants put out oxygen as a waste product which allows us to breathe . . . it is from plants that the Earth has ever had much oxygen, at all.
The most common alternate energy sources (as alternates to to fossil energy sources, oil, gas, and coal) are : nuclear energy, wind energy, and solar energy.
A future lunar station is most likely going to rely on sun energy for power. This will most likely demand placement near the poles where sunlight exists around the clock.
Hydro electric Energy in all forms are power/force .It is inexhaustible energy and therefore the best energy for the future. However other forms of energy eg: solar energy, atomic energy, hydrogen fuel, bio fuels, hybrid fuel are being used.
