Those who believe in The Bible find it to be perfectly reliable, and those who believe in science find it to be perfectly reliable; some people find a conflict between science and the bible, while others find that they are not about the same subject matter and therefore do not conflict. You are free to form your own opinion. As for which will prove to be more enduring, it may be that both will endure as long as human civilization will endure, but the future can be difficult to predict.

A careful and critical comparison of science and religion is far too complex a topic, as well as too controversial a topic, for me to attempt it in this particular forum.

Must the facts about science agree with the Bible?

There is no real requirement for science to agree with the words of the Bible, or even for the Bible to literally agree with modern science. Stephen Jay Gould explained this when he said that the domain or magisterium for science is the empirical realm - what the universe is made from and why it works the way it does. The magisterium of religion includes the ultimate meaning and moral values. These magisteria are nonoverlapping - science does not comment on the ultimate meaning of life, while religion should not comment on the natural world. At times the Bible does disagree with the facts of science, which makes Stephen Jay Goud's recommendation more significant for Christians. Is the king James Bible more reliable than the study Bibles?

Study Bibles come in most translations of the Bible, including the King James Version, and are not a translation in themselves. They have notes and information to complement, illuminate, and expand upon the text of the Bible.

What is the more reliable source 72 books of the Catholic Bible or the 66 books of the Bible?

"Reliability" is a function of the translation, not the function of whether certain books are included or not. "Reliability" might also depend on what particular aspect of the Bible you were concerned with at a given time.

If science contradicts with the Bible then Science is wrong Agree or Disagree?

Depends upon whether one believes in the scientific creation or the biblical creation. No definitive answer can be achieved as to who is right or wrong. It also depends whether you believe in a naturalistic philosophy behind the science or whether you will interpret the facts according to pure science without such philosophy. Scientific facts do not speak for themselves nor can science make conclusions about something such as the Bible which is not a scientific document (this makes no statement about whether the Bible is true or not). If science is made to contradict the Bible then it has ceased to be science but is a philosophy. Science, as such does not and cannot contradict the Bible. Separate answer: Occasionally Science and the Bible do differ, but you can see that the Bible agrees with modern Science on several interesting points! Such as Job 26:7 Which says "...the Earth which is hanging upon nothing..." this was back when people believed the Earth was on the back of a giant animal, or some type of mythological "god". (Also see Isaiah 40:22 "...circle of the Earth...") So it's plain to see that the Bible is the inspired word of God, and if something in science contradicts the Bible, I believe the Bible would always be in the right. For more information you can go to www.watchtower.org ^^ The bible rarely is in line with science. There are several ways in which it is flat out wrong.. Let's list some examples, shall we? 1.) The age of the earth 2.) Evolution 3.) The animal food chain 4.) The diets of certain animals. 5.) Mathematics 6.) Weather 7.) Whether animals can talk or not 8.) The existence of mud people 9.) Virgin birth 10.) Zombies 11.) The heliocentric universe 12.) Dinosaurs etc
