An alloy is considered a homogeneous mixture because by definition, a homogeneous mixture has the same uniform appearance and composition throughout. Since an alloy is a mixture of two or more metals, or a mixture of a metal with some other element, and these mixtures are uniform throughout, they fit the definition of being homogeneous.
because alloys are mixtures of metals simple, example; ZA27 is a exact mixture of 70% zinc 27%aluminum and 3%copper. its like making brownies you have your liquids and you mix them till theyre combined and sometimes your solids (copper melts alot higher then zinc or aluminum) combining your liquid heated molten metals with solid but heated metals the liquid dissolves the solid and alloys with it. just like making brownies if you think about it,
Hope this helps

it is a mixture of metals
it cannot be an alloy if it only contains one metal component
Gold is very inert. And, if you look at the electron state, I believe the gold electrons are not being shared with other elements in the alloy. Thus it would be considered a "mixture".
Alloy - is a homogeneous mixture made of two or more metals.Solution - is a homogeneous mixture composed of two or more substances.now answer it yourself.
Mixture. An alloy is a mixture of metals.
This would be called a homogeneous mixture or a solution
Homogeneous mixture
Brass is a homogeneous mixture called an alloy.
It is made of a homogeneous mixture of copper and zinc, called an alloy. An alloy is a mixture of metals.
Bronze is a homogeneous mixture of metals called an alloy.
A dime is composed of a metal mixture called an alloy, which is a homogeneous mixture. The metal alloy that makes up a dime is a mixture of copper and nickel.
Brass is a homogeneous mixture because it is an alloy consisting of copper and zinc. Alloys are made from combinations of different metals. Homogeneous mixtures are uniform in their compositions.
Bronze is a homogeneous mixture (alloy) of mainly copper and tin.
No. It is a homogeneous mixture. Specifically an alloy.
steel is a homogeneous mixture because it is an alloy.
Steel is a homogeneous mixture, also referred to as an alloy. It is a solid-solid mixture of metals.
It is an alloy, very probable not homogeneous.
Alloy - is a homogeneous mixture made of two or more metals.Solution - is a homogeneous mixture composed of two or more substances.now answer it yourself.
Bronze is an alloy. I've never heard of classifying metals as homogeneous or heterogeneous. If I had to put it in one, well it's definitely not heterogeneous, because that would consist of a mixture of dissimilar components. An alloy has a uniform 'mixture' of elements, so I guess that would make it homogeneous!
