No. A theory is an estimation of "How Nature Works", for which we can make quantitiative predictions. We then test our estimation / model to see what Nature thinks in different places and in different ways, to see how far our estimation makes good approximations. Science does not have all the answers. Science does not have a religious tome writ by God(s) whose word is inviolate, and unquestionable. Science holds that Nature is a lover, that requires attention, admiration, respect, and occasional ducking from flying "cookware". Best to know when the cookware is coming... Or something like that.
The most fundamental theories about the nature of things cannot be proven at all, let alone by observation.
Putting it simply, theories and ideas are not proven scientific facts, but remain as such, an idea or a theory which have yet still to be proven.
Hypothesis are theories which are yet to be proven. They are proven when they are proved to be true as in experiments.
bc scientific theories are hypotheses tested enough to be supported by evidence, and a fact is a proven thing. scientific theories are only right until theyre proven wrong
Well yeah. Its called a theory because it wasn't proven right yet. Once proven right, its called a fact.
Laws have been proven, theories have not
no

An extant theory is an idea that something is a specific way or is in existence. Extant theories are theories that have never been proven or found to be not true, so they are still viewed as a theory.
Science is never really and truly proven, it is growing / on going theories but myths have already been proven to be incorrect/false (hence the terms myth vs. fact)

the 8 thoeries of da vinci were that were proven to be true were that blood passes through the lungs but he never proved it because his results were never published but its was discover years later in his private note book when he passed away.

Proof of theories is an idea that trips up many people who are looking to make sense of sometimes widely differing views. No fundamental theory can ever be proven. There is no special Pronouncement that comes down to verify that a theory has become a "Law". It was thought that Newton's equations were Laws, and Einstein showed that they are not, or at least that they are limited in many ways. Some simple theories, the ones that can be completely revealed as true or false, can be proven right by simple experimentation and observation. If anyone ever had the theory that there is NO breathable atmosphere between the earth and moon, that theory has been proven right; there is no need to speculate further. The most fundamental theories can never be proven right, however. There is always the possibility that another observation or piece of research will uncover something that firmly contradicts the theory. The big bang theory is one of those theories that can never be proven.
