It is easy to measure temperatures below 273.15 Celsius, it is minus 273.15 deg C that is the limit. And it is not simply a question of not being able to measure such a temperature but that there IS no temperature below -273.15 deg C or 0 Kelvin.

It isn't impossible, it just requires different methods.

If you happen to mean temperatures below minus 273.15 degrees Celsius, that is the lowest possible temperature, equivalent to 0 Kelvin.

Assuming you mean -273.15 degrees C, then that is where molecular motion stops. Heat is a measure of molecular motion, and you can't have less than none.

it is impossible to measure a temp below 273 c is because nothing on Earth is that cold so we don't worry about making thermometers go that low.
